Adah Mohamed Usman A.K.A King Mo
Mohamed Usman Adah (born 25 August 1977), popularly known as Mohamed Adah, Lord King Mohammed Adah, or by his brand name Ochacho, is a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and real estate developer. He holds several traditional and honorary titles, including Oyame of Otukpo, Ondaje of Angadagba, Wakilin Kasan Jiwa, and Kangiwan Adudu.
He is the Chairman of the Ochacho Group of Companies, a business group that includes Ochacho Real Homes, House 77 Luxury Apartments by Ochacho, Ochacho Oil and Gas, and other subsidiaries in hospitality, aviation, agriculture, energy, and finance. Adah is widely regarded as a key contributor to contemporary real estate growth in Nigeria.
Through the Ochacho Foundation, he is also active in community support and social development.
Born in Kaduna State, Adah is of Idoma origin from Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State. He attended Army Day Primary School, Makurdi, and St. Francis College, Otukpo, before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 2002.
His business journey began in 2006 with Ayipolocho Investment Limited, a financial services company that supported small and medium-scale businesses. The company was rebranded in 2017 as Ochacho Real Homes, marking his entry into large-scale real estate development with its headquarters in Abuja.
His ventures eventually expanded into the Ochacho Group, which now includes Ochacho Homes, Ochacho Financial Services, Ochacho Farms, Ochacho Air, Ochacho Oil and Gas, House 77 Luxury Apartments, and Ochacho Hotels. The company reports delivering over 25,000 housing units across Abuja and other locations, and providing employment for more than 2,000 people.
In 2020, Adah introduced the “Light Has Come” project, installing over 10,000 streetlights across Otukpo–Ohimini to improve safety and social activity in the area. In 2021, he was named among Nigeria’s Top 10 Business Idols for Youths.
His interest in hospitality led to the establishment of Ochacho Hotels in Otukpo, officially opened in 2024. He is currently also working on a 900-unit luxury apartment development in Eko Atlantic.
Through the Ochacho Foundation, Adah has supported various community projects, including school renovations, drainage construction, and building an examination auditorium for the UPU community. He also sponsors about 500 youths annually through a scholarship scheme that covers school fees, WAEC, and JAMB. In 2022, he distributed over 80 cars and 300 motorcycles to young people in Otukpo.
Adah gained media attention when he gifted musician Davido a Lexus LX 570. He also organizes the annual Ochacho Carnival in Otukpo, a free concert that has featured major Nigerian entertainers such as Davido, Peruzzi, D’banj, Teni, Magnito, Ladi Poe, Kenny Blaq, Nedu, Seyi Law, Zlatan and others. The event has become one of Benue’s most notable festivals.
In September 2025, his 12-year-old son, Ice King Ochacho, released his debut EP titled I’m Back. The project blended Afrobeats and rap, and received positive attention in Benue and Abuja. His launch event drew a large crowd, earning him recognition as a young talent to watch.
Adah is married to Pharm Ramatu Mohamed Adah(PHD) and they have five children: Ochacho, King Odeh, Adah, Miriam, and Prince Enokola.
